Halco - JC10 - 10W Bi-Pin G4 Base
Double-ended and pin based quartz lamps are composed of a quartz glass envelope surrounding a tungsten filament. The quartz envelope is filled with bromine or iodine halogen gas. The base of the lamp is ceramic attached with high-temperature cement. The quartz glass envelope may be clear or diffused. In addition to the tungsten filament, other wires made from molybdenum, copper, iron and/or nickel are used as support wires or for electrical conditions.
